Office Manager
Meet Jess, our dedicated Office Manager who oversees almost everything in our operation. She’s the driving force behind our client projects, keeping the team on track, managing our social media, handling payroll, and overseeing staff training programs.
With her detail-oriented personality, Jess ensures that nothing slips through the cracks and that our projects run smoothly for our customers. Her role is crucial to our success, and we couldn’t function without her.
Outside the office, Jess is a passionate Brumbies Rugby fan, enjoys a good glass of red wine, and loves Ed Sheeran’s music (I mean, who doesn’t??). Her practical and results-driven approach to work focuses on enhancing customer experience and streamlining office processes for our clients.
Ben
Tree Climber
Meet Ben, our expert tree climber and crew leader, known for his passion for trees and hands-on approach. Ben leads our team, ensuring everyone is skilled in the latest techniques and safety protocols. He expertly manages boom trucks and chainsaws, focusing on preserving Canberra’s trees.
Active in the community, Ben shares his tree care knowledge widely. Off duty, he’s a devoted family man and die-hard Canberra Raiders fan, often enjoying outdoor activities with his kids. Ben’s strategic mind and lively spirit bring fun and energy to our team.
Tony
Arborist
Meet Tony, our newest arborist with a green thumb and a wealth of experience. Tony is our go-to expert for all things trees, whether it’s selecting the ideal location for planting or identifying plant diseases. He’s also skilled at climbing and pruning, ensuring our trees are both healthy and aesthetically pleasing.
Tony’s expertise includes applying specialised fertilisers and handling tools with ease, always with a positive attitude, regardless of the weather or the heights involved.
When he’s not working, Tony enjoys playing cricket, fishing, and exploring the outdoors with his dog, Rex.
Martin
Groundie/Truck Driver
Meet Martin, the powerhouse and versatile ground worker on our team. Martin plays a vital role in connecting the aerial and ground elements of tree removal and maintenance. His responsibilities range from maintaining a safe and efficient job site to dragging and chipping brush and thorough cleanup. Whether working independently or as part of a team, Martin expertly navigates trucks and trailers and conducts daily safety inspections with the precision of a seasoned professional.
More than just a driver, Martin is skilled in using various equipment, including chainsaws, chippers, and tractors, ensuring each piece is well-maintained and used properly. Always eager to learn, Martin constantly seeks training and certifications to enhance his skills and is often found with a book about trees in hand.
Outside of work, Martin is a dedicated family man, father to three children, and a passionate beachgoer. After moving from the Gold Coast eight years ago, he has made the coastal hub of Canberra his second home. Martin’s blend of professional dedication and personal warmth makes him an invaluable team member and a pleasure to be around.
